DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 31,000 families over the course of two days

On July 3 and 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to conduct a number of repairs and restore electricity to 23 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring power to more than 31,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of 2 days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 23 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring access to electricity for 31,707 families. 

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. Shelling of the region continues. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 111 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
