Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 44 settlements, de-energized due to shelling
Despite constant shelling, energy workers are working and restoring power supply of the region. Last week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 44 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 24,507 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to 12,500 families in 9 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling.
According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing. Missile and air strikes continue. In particular, Lyman community was shelled 23 times yesterday.
Active shelling in the Donetsk region constantly damages grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
