DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 1,000 homes yesterday

On February 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of grids damages after shelling and restore power to one of the frontline settlements, affected by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than a thousand families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Donetsk region continues to suffer from constant enemy attacks that destroy the energy system, among other things. The emergency and repair crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. 

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to 1,123 homes in one of the settlements of the frontline Donetsk region. 

The situation in the region still remains extremely difficult due to constant enemy attacks and shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 11 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,095 days and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
