DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to 15,800 families over the course of 2 days

On December 22 and 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continued repairing grids after shelling. Over the past two days, they managed to restore power to 19 settlements, de-energized due to active hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of 17,400 families. The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. Shelling continues to damage energy infrastructure of the region.

Repairs of the grids after large-scale bad weather were underway as well. Over the course of 2 days, energy workers were able to restore electricity to 28 settlements (24 completely and 4 partially), thus restoring power to 8,300 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the abnormal weather conditions.

Energy workers continue to work on restorations. The works are complicated by constant shelling of the region and large scale of damages. There are lines, where trees and ice caused collapse of more than 20 poles – such repairs require more time.

In case of a power outage, please inform us about it in any convenient way: via remote service channels: DTEK Donetsk Grids website, company’s Facebook page. You can also contact the call center: +38 (093/099) 450 0 473, though it may take more time due to a large number of calls.

Energy workers are working 24/7 and doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home. Only together and with joint efforts will we be able to endure and overcome these dark times!
