DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration: energy workers have restored electricity to almost 17,000 families over the course of a day

On January 11, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore electricity to residents of 37 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to 16,616 families.

Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Pavlo Kyrylenko, the entire frontline was shelled at night and in the morning.

Damage of the energy infrastructure continues. 97 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
