DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to homes of almost 2,000 families over the course of a day
On November 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore electricity to residents of 5 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,827 families.
Donetsk region remains an arena of heavy fighting. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate his main efforts on offensive operations in the directions of Avdiivka and Bakhmut.
Massive shelling, missile strikes and air assaults continue to destroy the energy infrastructure. 95 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 273 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
Due to a difficult situation in the energy system, stabilization power cutoffs are ongoing in the Donetsk region in compliance with the NPC Ukrenergo order. We also urge all customers to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening.
