On January 4 and 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to repair grids and restore electricity in 36 settlements, affected by enemy shelling, thus restoring power to almost 40,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers make every effort to promptly restore power supply once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 36 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 37,613 families in the Donetsk region.

Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. According to the Ministry of Defense, yesterday Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near 9 settlements in the Donetsk region.

97 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
