The Energy Community has provided DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids with yet another batch of humanitarian aid – advanced aerial platforms VERSALIFT. This new special machinery will enhance energy workers’ capabilities and will make it possible to eliminate consequences of enemy attacks faster and carry out scheduled repairs on the overhead power lines
DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids received advanced truck-mounted aerial platforms to enhance emergency and restoration activities

The received VERSALIFT MAN aerial platforms are fully equipped for work on the overhead power lines. The machinery is designed for live line works performance. Special protective equipment ensures safe work performance by the energy workers without interruption of power supply. Thanks to the enhanced cross-country ability, the machinery can efficiently work both in the settlements and in the hard-to-reach areas of the region.

The operating lifting height is 32 meters, which allows energy workers to perform a wide range of works on the overhead lines. The aerial platform is equipped with a hydraulic control system — the primary control is carried out by an electrician directly from the working platform, while the emergency one — by the auto hydraulic lift operator from the vehicle’s chassis.

The machinery received has already been distributed among company’s units and engaged in daily work of the crews.

“We are grateful to the international partners for their support of the Ukrainian energy industry. New special machinery allows our specialists to work more efficiently and faster restore power supply to the residents of the Kyiv region,” — noted DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids CEO Vitalii Shaida
