DTEK Grids received an award in the nomination “Innovation of the year in the field of occupational safety” at the International Forum “Leaders of Changes 2025” that unites experts, business and international organizations to discuss modern approaches to safety.

The award was granted for the project “Photo and video monitoring of workplace preparation and permit-to-work process, introduced by the Distribution Systems Operators last yearThis project was implemented within the framework of the long-term ESG strategy of the companywhichin the field of occupational safety in particularis aimed at reducing the risk of accidentsminimizing impact of the human factor and ensuring monitoring of safety rules compliance. 

The award was presented to Oleksandr Tatarenkohead of the occupational safety department at DTEK GridsDTEK Grids systematically develops occupational safety culture in compliance with the UN Sustainable Development GoalsThis is especially important nowwhen energy workers have to work under attacks and in conditions of increased dangerThis award confirms that our technologies comply with the highest international standardsWe will continue further development of the safety cultureas lives and health of employees is our main priority, — he noted. 

The forum became a platform for discussion of leadershipbest practices and risks of the new draft law on occupational safetySeparately discussed topics included mental healthinclusivity and adaptation of veterans in the working environment.
