“DTEK Odesa Grids continues to create the infrastructure for rebuilding of the region and recovery of the economy. Overall volume of the investment program for 2024 is 1.1 billion hryvnas. Thanks to the construction of new lines, substations and modernization of the existing ones, we will minimize emergencies and ensure stable operation of the grid in the Odesa region,” – underscored Dmytro Hryhoriev, CEO at DTEK Odesa Grids.

Within the framework of an investment program, the company continues reconstruction of three 110 kV high-voltage substations in Odesa and Odesa region. This will help increase reliability of power supply to 20 socially important facilities, namely 9 boiler houses, 6 hospitals and 5 water supply and disposal facilities, and to 110,000 customers in Peresypskyi, Kyivskyi, Khadzhybeiskyi districts of the city of Odesa and Izmail district of the Odesa region.

This year, construction of a new cable line will begin in Khadzhybeiskyi district of the city of Odesa. It will ensure backup power supply for the 110 kV high-voltage substation, thus providing an opportunity to reduce duration of outages during emergencies for the customers in the Kyiv district of Odesa.
