DTEK Odesa Grids once again became the largest employer in the Odesa region according to “Opendatabot”

DTEK Odesa Grids is an employer with the largest number of employees in the Odesa region with flawless business reputation according to the “Opendatabot” platform. The company cares about its employees, providing comfortable and transparent working conditions, and attracts young specialists to work within the framework of the “Dual Education” project. Special attention – to the veterans of war. All necessary conditions have been created at the enterprise for their successful return to work in the team and adaptation to the industrial environment. Workplaces are reserved for the mobilized employees, currently serving in the army, as well as voluntary medical insurance in the event of sickness, injury, etc.

People are the greatest asset of our company. Thanks to expertise and experience of each and every specialist, equipment is working properly, and our customers have electricity at home. We provide support, ensure decent working conditions, full medical insurance in particular, for our colleagues to feel the care and choose our company for their career growth. DTEK Odesa Grids built a culture of support that helps colleagues-veterans adapt to civil life. As of May 2025, 134 specialists (by the main place of employment) serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, five employees were killed, three are missing in action, 25 were wounded. All our employees receive necessary medical aid and support of the company. Meanwhile, 35 our colleagues-veterans have already returned to civil life and work at the enterprise. 

As of today, veterans support program in DTEK Odesa Grids consists of medical assistance to the wounded, additional medical insurance packageVeteran+”, which includes advanced capabilities for examination, treatment and rehabilitation, psychological support, health recovery programs, help in adaptation with the support of mentors, the role performed by the direct managers, as well as measures related to change of specialization / profession. 

The company is interested in support of the talented youth too. Since 2020, “Dual Education” project is active in DTEK Odesa Grids. It is designed for the students of 2–4 years of study in the specialized educational institutions, who are getting education in the specialty of “Energy Industry”. Participants of the project receive theoretical knowledge in colleges and universities, while undergoing practical training at the enterprise with the possibility of further permanent employment. All dual students are employed for the duration of study, receive salary and are provided with the social package. 

As of the end of 2024, 66 students in the Odesa region took advantage of the benefits of dual education. 37% of them continued building careers in the company.
