DTEK restored electricity to 105,000 homes in the capital after the enemy attack

On the night of June 15, Kyiv suffered a massive missile-drone attack, which caused damage to one of the DTEK Kyiv Grids industrial sites and special machinery. A total of 140,000 homes of Kyivans were de-energized over the night.
An enemy attack caused damage to the power line. More than 140,000 residents of the northern part of the city remained without power supply at night. Company’s industrial site and special machinery suffered destruction.
DTEK Kyiv Grids emergency crews began inspection of the energy equipment immediately after air raid alert was lifted.
As of 8:00 a.m., energy workers have already restored electricity to 105,000 homes.
Energy workers are working together with the SES. Repair works are ongoing.
The lights stay on.
