DTEK brings back light: power supply restored to 172,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in July

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews restored power to 172,000 homes in the region that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy continues to carry out systematic terrorist attacks on civil and power facilities of the Dnipropetrovsk region, directing missiles and kamikaze drones on the region, firing artillery from the occupied territories. Shelling regularly affects lines and equipment, leaving thousands of residents without electricity. 

In July, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 172,173 families in the region. Last week alone, electricity has been restored to almost 10,000 homes, de-energized due to yet another rf strikes. 

Emergency crews repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of more than 2 mln households in the Dnipropetrovsk region*.
