DTEK brings back light: power supply restored to almost 240,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in February
The enemy continues to carry out systematic attacks on civil and power facilities of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Last month, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 239,547 families in the region, whose homes were de-energized due to daily shelling. Last week alone, electricity has been restored to more than 160,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Emergency crews commence repairs of the grid after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. However, the work in the frontline zone is always risky. Unfortunately, energy workers suffered a heavy loss recently: on February 20, an employee of the company – auto crane operator Hennadii Musatov – was killed by the enemy artillery shell during performance of restoration activities.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of more than 3.5 mln households in the Dnipropetrovsk region*.
