DTEK brings back light: power supply has been restored to almost 29,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in January
The enemy continues to carry out systematic terrorist attacks on civil and power facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The grids regularly suffer from shelling that leaves thousands of residents without electricity.
In January, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 28,700 families of the region. Mostly, in the southern districts close to the area of hostilities and temporarily occupied territories. They had to restore electricity to some homes on multiple occasions due to regular enemy attacks.
Emergency crews repair grids immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of more than 1.3 mln* households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
