In December, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids emergency and repair crews restored power to 843 homes, left without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. In 2023, energy workers restored power to a total of almost 3,000 families in the region.

For the second year of a full-scale war, energy workers of the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids have been doing everything possible to provide electricity to homes of every customer and repairing grids, damaged by the enemy shelling.  

In December, specialists of the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids restored power to 843 families in the region that were left without electricity due to hostilities. In 2023, energy workers restored power to a total of 2,661 families in the region. 

“For two years, DTEK energy workers have been working in the conditions of increased danger and repairing grids, destroyed by the enemy attacks. Since the beginning of a full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, our specialists have already restored electricity to more than 1.4 mln households in the Kyiv region*. Our primary priority is to provide electricity to customers as soon as possible.” – noted DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids CEO Vitalii Shaida
