DTEK brings back light: in June, energy workers have restored electricity supply to more than 42,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to more than 42,000 homes that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. The specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored power to 985,000* families in the region.

Shelling of the southern districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, bordering the area of hostilities, has intensified again, constantly damaging the grids and leaving thousands of residents without electricity. Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored power to more than 42,000 families in the region that were left without electricity due to enemy attacks. 

Last week alone, energy workers have restored electricity to 3,500 homes. 

Emergency crews repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 985,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
