DTEK brings back light: in May, energy workers have restored electricity supply to 16,800 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 16,800 homes that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 951,000* families in the region.

Unfortunately, shelling of settlements continues in the southern districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region bordering the area of hostilities, constantly damaging the grids and leaving thousands of residents without electricity. Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored power to 16,800 families that were left without electricity due to shelling.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to more than 951,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
