Since the beginning of a full-scale invasion, DTEK has restored electricity to a total of more than 7 mln customers*, left without power in the city of Kyiv and in Kyiv, Odesa, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions due to shelling and missile strikes. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair company’s electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES.

For a year of a full-scale war, energy workers have been doing everything possible to provide electricity to homes of every customer and repairing grids, being damaged by the enemy shelling. Over the course of 365 days, electricity has been restored to more than 4 mln families* in the Donetsk region, 1.2 mln families* in the Kyiv region, 874,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 83,000 families* in the Odesa region and 773,000 families* in the city of Kyiv.

“For a year, our specialists have been working in the conditions of increased danger and repairing grids, destroyed due to enemy attacks. Since the beginning of a full-scale invasion on February 24 last year, energy workers have already repaired more than 4,000 power facilities that suffered from enemy attacks. Our primary priority is to provide electricity to customers as soon as possible. Energy workers commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES,” – noted DTEK Grids CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.

As of February 28, energy workers continue to work on stabilization of the situation in Odesa. NPC Ukrenergo specialists continue to repair power facilities, damaged due to rf’s attacks. Once this work is completed, grid limitations may be cancelled.
