DTEK continues restoration of the grids: energy workers have restored electricity to more than 13,000 households in the Donetsk region over the course of a day
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 13 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 13,286 families in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Volnovakha districts.
Constant hostilities cause larger and larger damage to grids and equipment. Nevertheless, energy workers manage to perform restorations where shelling subsides and when the military permit. For instance, yesterday specialists of the energy company have restored power to 7,200 households in Sloviansk community. They have also repaired grids for 2,700 households in Toretsk community and 1,800 households in Bakhmut community. Additionally, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to work in Avdiivka, Velyka Novosilka and Marinka communities.
92 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for work performance from the military and are unable to work there. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Sloviansk. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
