DTEK has restored electricity to 44,700 households over the course of a day
On July 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored electricity to 35 settlements of the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 44,787 households in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.
The majority of restorations were in the Bakhmut district. Energy workers, with the permission of military, managed to restore electricity to 20,100 households of Toretsk community and 19,600 households of Bakhmut community, which constantly suffer from shelling. Specialists of the energy company were also working on restorations in Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, Selydove, Avdiivka and Marinka communities that constantly suffer from consequences of hostilities as well.
Hostilities in the Donetsk region remain active. Shelling constantly causes damage to the grids and shutdown of energy enterprises. 339 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult directions are Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.
