DTEK has restored electricity to more than 4,000 households in the Donetsk region

On October 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to homes of residents of 3 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 4,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately after obtaining a permit for work performance from the military.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are repairing grids, damaged by shelling, every day. Electricity has been restored to 4,261 families in the Bakhmut district.

Yesterday, energy workers, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct restoration activities in Toretsk community, restoring electricity to 4,000 households. Specialists of the energy company managed to restore electricity here in less than 24 hours. Besides, energy workers got access and were able to conduct a number of repairs in Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk communities.

79 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for work performance from the military and are unable to work there. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Marinka and Lyman. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
