DTEK restored power to 4,600 families in the Donetsk region
On May 17, despite very difficult situation in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore service to 11 settlements, thus allowing restoration of power to homes of 4,658 families in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Volnovakha and Kramatorsk districts. The majority – in the Bakhmut district.
Residents of 281 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to hostilities. The most difficult situation is near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where hostilities frequently cause damage of electrical equipment. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
