A two-zone meter will save on electricity bills and help the energy system during the heating season
A cold season, soon to start in the Dnipropetrovsk region, will encourage people to more actively use energy-consuming appliances – heaters, boilers, etc. In such a case, a two-zone meter will help save on electricity bills by means of a more favorable night tariff. When the kilowatts consumed from 23:00 to 7:00 cost 50% less than during any other period of the day.

It should be understood that a two-zone meter and a modified consumption (with an increased night share) help people not only reduce their own expenses, but also balance the energy system of the country. As, it also helps smooth out the peak loads. Consumption of electricity at night is a contribution to the stability of the domestic energy system,” – underscored DTEK Dnipro Grids.
In order to request replacement of the old electric meter with the new two-zone meter, please visit a corresponding page on the DTEK Dnipro Grids website and follow these three steps:
- select a service and fill the application;
- receive the bill and the date of request fulfilment on your email;
- pay the bill, get a new meter and works related to its installation;
The cost of the service that includes the meter itself, services related to dismantling of the old device, installation of the new one, sealing and programming for work in the “day” / “night” mode is:
- for 1-phase two-zone meter (220V) – from 3,199 UAH;
- for 3-phase two-zone meter (380V) – from 5,799 UAH;
