DTEK Odesa Grids energy worker received an award of the Cabinet of Ministers for his work during the war

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper awarded a certificate of honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to Serhii Naradko, lead engineer of the distribution grids repair and operation center at DTEK Odesa Grids. He was celebrated for his personal contribution to restoration of electricity after hostilities and ensuring operation of the Odesa region’s energy system in the wartime conditions.  

Serhii Naradko has been working at the enterprise for 28 years. During this time, he managed to go all the way from electric fitter of the substations group to lead engineer of the Odesa region. After each enemy attack on the Odesa region, the energy worker organizes work of the crews to eliminate consequences of strikes in order to restore electricity to people’s homes as soon as possible.  

“Today, energy workers throughout the country are working as one friendly team. And I am proud to be its integral part. Our goal is to resist the enemy’s energy terror. And we are working 24/7 to do everything possible and impossible for this. For doctors to be able to save lives, for business to work, for Ukrainians to be in touch with their family and friends,” – commented Serhii Naradko, lead engineer of the distribution grids repair and operation center at DTEK Odesa Grids.  

Let us remind that in December 2023, 82 energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids were honored with departmental and corporate awards on the occasion of a professional holiday – Energy Worker Day for their work in the extremely difficult conditions of war and restoration of power supply after enemy shelling.
