Energy worker of DTEK Odesa Grids received the award of the President of Ukraine medal “For Labor and Valor”

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine, Anatolii Sushko, lead engineer of the Central Power Distribution Zone at DTEK Odesa Grids, has been presented with the state award in the energy industry – the award of the President of Ukraine medal “For labor and valor” – for ensuring operation of the energy system in the conditions of martial law, courage and dedication during elimination of consequences of emergencies after enemy attacks.

Anatolii Sushko has been working in the energy industry for over 20 years. He went all the way from an electrician to lead engineer. After each enemy attack on the energy industry, Anatolii organizes work of the crews to eliminate consequences of shelling in order to restore electricity to people’s homes as soon as possible. 

An award of the President of Ukraine is a great honor, both for me personally and for the entire energy team that stands on the guard of light 24/7. Together, we are able to overcome any challenges,”underscored Anatolii Sushko, lead engineer of the Central Power Distribution Zone. 

Earlier, the same award of the President of Ukraine was presented to four energy workers of the enterpriseYurii Huzema, head of the Odesa Power Distribution Zone, and specialists of the lines repair and operation center: Oleksandr Hranenko, foreman of the Podolsk crew, Ihor Lazariev, electrician of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi crew and Volodymyr Manziuk, electrician of the Odesa crew.
