DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 2,700 families after yesterday shelling

On February 28, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to more than 2,700 families in the south of the region, whose homes were left without power supply due to shelling. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The south of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling, that damages grids and leaves residents without electricity on a daily basis. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

On February 28, southern districts of the region were again attacked by drones and artillery, damaging power lines among other things. The same day, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to conduct repairs and restore power to all 2,735 families, whose homes were de-energized.
