DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 4,800 homes after yesterday’s shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 4,800 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, whose homes were left without electricity due to enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the girds upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for the normal life of the region’s residents.

At 14:30 on August 5, one of the russian strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk region caused complete power outage in as many as 7 settlements in the east of the region. The fire started. Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews began restoring power supply. By the morning, energy workers restored electricity to 4 settlements, thus restoring electricity to most of the de-energized homes. 

Yesterday, specialists restored power to a total of 4,766 families in the region that were left without electricity due to hostilities. Restoration activities are ongoing. 

The Dnipropetrovsk region suffers daily shelling that damages the grids and causes new power outages in towns and villages of the region. Despite the threats, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to the residents as soon as possible. They commence works immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
