DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to more than 1 million homes after the rf’s large-scale attack

An enemy attack on the night from Wednesday to Thursday damaged a number of power facilities that transport electricity to the residents of Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, thus causing large-scale power outages throughout the region. Energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids have been restoring power supply night and day. As of Thursday morning, they managed to supply voltage to almost all critical infrastructure that ensures region’s vital activities. Electricity has now been restored to all customers, de-energized due to the attack, including the people.

Over the past two days, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to a total of 1,008,291 families in 736 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

However, the enemy continues to attack the Dnipropetrovsk region. 35,000 homes currently remain without electricity in the region.

Restoration activities in the frontline zone are complicated by the security situation and worsening of weather conditions. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to every home as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
