Nearly 23,000 consumers in 117 settlements of the region currently remain without electricity. Strong wind caused trees and branches to fall on the power lines, thus leading to broken wires and power outages. 62 lines and 880 transformer substations were de-energized.

DTEK Dnipro Grids crews continue eliminating consequences of severe weather at full capacity in order to restore power supply to the homes of the region’s residents as soon as possible.

Wind bursts may cause broken wires of live power lines. We ask residents to be careful and not to approach sagging or broken wires closer than 8 meters. Even the wire laying on the ground may cause electrocution. If you noticed broken wires ‒ immediately inform the company via private messages in Facebook, on the DTEK Dnipro Grids website or via the call center: +38 (056/066/067/063) 790-99-00. Do not let children or animals approach the broken line until the repair crew arrives
