DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 51,700 homes after yesterday’s shelling
Yesterday, at about 19:26, one of the russian strikes caused total power outage in 152 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Almost 54,000 families were left without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists commenced restoration activities immediately once the security situation allowed. By the morning, energy workers restored power in 99 affected settlements and restored electricity to the majority of de-energized homes. Nearly 12,000 homes remain without electricity. Energy workers are working to energize them as soon as possible.
Yesterday, specialists restored power to a total of 51,705 families in 118 settlements of the region that were left without electricity due to hostilities. Restoration activities are ongoing.
The Dnipropetrovsk region suffers from shelling that damages the grids and causes new power outages in towns and villages on a daily basis. Despite the threats, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to every home as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
