DTEK Donetsk Grids energy workers restored power to 3,000 families of the region
On September 24, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to repair a number of grids damages and completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 5 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts, thus restoring electricity to 2,916 families of the region.
In particular, electricity has been restored to more than 1,300 families in Bakhmut community. Additionally, repairs were carried out for more than 1,000 houses in Toretsk community. Besides, energy workers were also restoring operation of the grid in Druzhkivka and Kurakhove communities.
Donetsk region continues to suffer from daily shelling that damages power lines and leaves residents without electricity. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and Marinka.
88 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
