Energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids received honors of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine

Three specialists of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids were awarded state honors for significant contribution to restoration of power supply in the Kyiv region after de-occupation and ensuring integrity of the Ukrainian energy system.
Energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids received honors of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine

An Honorary Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was awarded to Serhii Kozarenko, head of the Bila Tserkva operations and dispatching center.

A Letter of Gratitude from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was awarded to Oleksii Kosheliuk, distribution grids operation electrician.

A Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine was awarded to Andrii Karpuk, foreman of the overhead lines repair and operation crew.

“These honors are not just recognition of our colleagues’ personal contribution, but are also a symbol of gratitude to all energy workers, who have been holding the critical energy front since the first days of war. We are proud of our colleagues, who have been restoring electricity to every home in the Kyiv region during the full-scale invasion and continue to do it every day, despite constant threats,” — noted Vitalii Shaida, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids have been working in the extreme conditions, providing electricity to the residents of the Kyiv region. Energy workers take active part in restoration of the energy infrastructure after the strikes, and every year they prepare the energy system to going through the heating season in the conditions of war. Thus, providing the opportunity for the residents of the region to work, study, stay in touch with loved ones, for paramedics — to save lives, for the business — to expand and strengthen the country’s economy.

“It is a great honor to receive such a recognition. But I consider it to be not only the personal one, but rather a recognition of the work of our entire team, which is working 24/7, overcoming challenges of war to provide electricity to the homes of Ukrainians. Our motivation is people’s gratitude and understanding that our work matters,” — noted Serhii Kozarenko, head of the operations and dispatching center.
