DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to 1,600 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On September 18, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 1,600 families, de-energized due to the shelling. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy attacks that regularly damage grids and leave residents without electricity. Emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are carried out immediately after obtaining permission for repairs from the AFU and SES. 

On September 18, shelling damaged the grids in 6 settlements in the south of the region. Over the course of the day, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists managed to restore power to homes of 1,630 families. 

Nearly 1,500 homes currently remain without electricity. Energy workers are working to energize them as soon as possible.
