DTEK energy workers restored electricity to more than 7,000 families after shelling in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to more than 7,000 families in the south of the region that was hit by a new enemy attack last night. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that frequently damages grids and leaves residents without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining permission for repairs from SES and AFU. 

In the night of January 21, the enemy army attacked a community in the south of the region using kamikaze drones and artillery, causing broken power line and leaving more than 11,000 homes without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers have already connected 7,159 of them. Emergency crews are working to restore power to another 4,500 de-energized homes as soon as possible.
