DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to more than 1,300 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 2 settlements in the south of the region that were once again hit by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to more than 1,300 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region yesterday. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The south of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to be subjected to enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents without electricity.

On April 25, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 1,360 families in 2 settlements, whose homes were de-energized due to shelling the day before. Emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU.

Another 45 families remain without power supply after yesterday’s shelling. Energy workers are working to restore operation of the damaged line and energize homes as soon as possible.
