DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 1,500 homes in the Donetsk region
Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 9 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 1,500 families.
Donetsk region remains an area of the most active hostilities. According to the Donetsk RMA, russians shelled settlements of the region 15 times yesterday. 87 people have been evacuated from the frontline, including 7 children.
Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 781 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
