DTEK energy workers eliminated consequences of shelling and bad weather in the Dnipropetrovsk region: electricity restored to more than 25,000 families

On April 21, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 1,900 homes, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to 5 settlements, hit by enemy attacks the day before. Additionally, energy workers restored operation of the grids after yesterday’s bad weather, thus restoring power to homes of more than 23,000 families in the region.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer enemy attacks that regularly damage grids and leave residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of the grids for 1,907 families in 5 settlements, shelled the day before. Nearly 300 homes remain without electricity. Energy workers are working on restorations to energize them as soon as possible.  

Besides, DTEK Dnipro Grids continues to eliminate consequences of yesterday’s bad weather. By Monday morning, emergency and repair crews managed to restore power to 23,200 homes of residents of the region. Nearly 800 homes remain de-energized due to bad weather. All of them will be energized during the day.
