DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to 1,400 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 1,400 homes in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On May 9, the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region suffered dozens of attacks with artillery, MRLS “Grad” and kamikaze drones that damaged power lines and de-energized 1,400 households in 2 settlements of the region.

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers commenced emergency and restoration activities immediately after obtaining permission from SES and AFU. During the day, they managed to conduct repair of the overhead lines and energize all families, left without electricity.

Power supply in the affected districts is now fully restored.
