DTEK energy workers restored electricity supply to almost 30,000 families in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions

On June 8, energy workers conducted a number of repairs of grids in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, destroyed by yet another rf attacks. Electricity has been restored to homes of almost 30,000 Ukrainian families.

Yesterday, energy workers managed to eliminate consequences of shelling and restore electricity to more than 1,000 homes in the Donetsk region and more than 28,500 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region, which was once again shelled from the occupied territories.

The enemy continues to attack the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and artillery on a daily basis. On June 8, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 28,523 families, whose homes were de-energized due to shelling the day before. Power supply in the region is now fully restored,”informs DTEK Grids.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. Constant shelling of the region continues. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Specialists do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
