DTEK energy workers restored operation of grids after the missile attack on Kryvyi Rih

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have promptly restored power after yesterday (September 8) missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. As of 17:40, two substations, damaged by the blast, resumed its operation and a damaged power line was repaired. Energy workers commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.

In the morning of September 8, russia has once again attacked Dnipropetrovsk region. A missile strike caused a blast wave that damaged two power substations and 5 power line poles, leaving 117 families without electricity.  

DTEK emergency crews commenced repair immediately after obtaining permission from the SES and the military. 4 crews (15 specialists of various fields) were engaged. They restored operation of substations, replaced damaged equipment and repaired most of the damaged power line. As of 17:40, power supply has been restored to all residential buildings. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly eliminate damage after enemy shelling. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damages from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
