DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to 6,700 families in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region

On January 20, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 6,700 families, whose homes were de-energized due to the damage of lines by enemy shelling. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On January 20, new enemy attacks again caused de-energization in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Damage of lines by shelling left 6,687 families without electricity. 

Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply. By the end of the day, energy workers restored electricity to all de-energized homes. 

The enemy continues to attack Dnipropetrovsk region by means of artillery shelling, missile and drone strikes. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are carried out immediately after obtaining permission for repairs from the AFU and SES.
