Energy workers restored electricity to all Kyivans, de-energized due to the enemy attack on the capital
Russian army’s missile and drone strikes on Kyiv in the night and in the morning of June 2 left more than 140,000 homes in Sviatoshynskyi, Podilskyi, Obolonskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts without electricity. Energy workers began restoring power supply as soon as the security situation allowed and after inspection of the strike sites by the military and SES.
Power supply has now been restored to all customers of the company.
Let us remind that the night attack on Kyiv resulted in injuries to two employees of DTEK Kyiv Grids, who were on their way to the shelter at the moment of the attack. They are currently in the hospital. The company’s production site and power facilities were also damaged.
DTEK Kyiv Grids urge city residents to not ignore air raid alert signals and take care of their own safety.
Standing firm together!
