DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists came under fire during work performance in the Donetsk region. Fortunately, energy workers were not injured, however, the crew vehicle was severely damaged. Shelling is ongoing in the Donetsk region, constantly complicating work of the emergency and restoration crews. Nevertheless, specialists of the energy company continue to repair the girds once it becomes possible and restore electricity to the residents of the Donetsk region.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue to work in the Donetsk region despite the fact that restoring electricity here is becoming increasingly difficult and dangerousThe enemy attacks the region on a daily basisthus energy workers’ crews come under fire more and more often. 

In particular, a new incident happened last week. Specialists of the energy company came to the site to inspect the equipment. However, once they began looking for damage, they saw a drone. Energy workers immediately ran to the nearest shelter, and in 15 minutes the drone hit the vehicle. Fortunately, no one from the crew was injured. Although the crew vehicle was severely damaged, specialists of the energy company managed to start it and get to a safer place after the attack. Energy workers completed the planned inspection once they received permission from the military.
