With the Decree of the President of Ukraine, foreman of the Nikopol fast-response field crew at DTEK Dnipro Grids Vitalii Miahkoholov was awarded the state honor – medal “For Courage”, ІІІ degree.

The energy worker received an award for the dedicated workcourage and professionalism displayed during performance of his duties in the area of constant danger. 

Since the first days of the full-scale invasionVitalii Miahkoholov and his colleagues have been eliminating emergencies in the grids of the Nikopol district that would occur after enemy attacksDuring the targeted drone strikes and artillery shelling of the Nikopol energy infrastructurehe has been carrying out responsive switching at substations to restore power supply to the city residentshospitals and enterprises as soon as possibleThis Julythe specialist was wounded by drone explosion during performance of routine work tasks at the territory of one of the power facilities.
