Foreman of DTEK Dnipro Grids was awarded with the medal “For Courage”, ІІІ degree

The energy worker received an award for the dedicated work, courage and professionalism displayed during performance of his duties in the area of constant danger. 

Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, Vitalii Miahkoholov and his colleagues have been eliminating emergencies in the grids of the Nikopol district that would occur after enemy attacks. During the targeted drone strikes and artillery shelling of the Nikopol energy infrastructure, he has been carrying out responsive switching at substations to restore power supply to the city residents, hospitals and enterprises as soon as possible. This July, the specialist was wounded by drone explosion during performance of routine work tasks at the territory of one of the power facilities. 

“We are proud of our energy workers, who risk their lives on a daily basis to provide electricity to people’s homes. Vitalii’s courage and dedication are an example of true service to his profession and his country,” – noted DTEK Dnipro Grids. 

Energy workers continue to work in the frontline districts and do everything possible to provide residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region with stable power supply even under the most difficult conditions.
