Electricity restored to almost 140,000 families in the Kyiv region: energy workers of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids completed the restoration of the main grid after severe weather

Stormy wind and heavy rain this weekend caused a series of damages to the grids, thus leaving some residents of the Kyiv region without electricity. Strong wind brought down trees, broke branches and sometimes ripped roofs off houses and power facilities.

Once the power outages commenced – energy workers immediately began to repair damages. Throughout this time, works were carried out at full capacity in order to restore power supply to the homes of the region’s residents as quickly as possible.

Restoration of the main grid has now been completed. Employees of the energy company are currently processing individual customer requests, and eliminating damages not related to the aftermath of severe weather.
