DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 35,000 families last week

From July 15 to 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 42 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 35,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power supply to a total of more than 7.9 mln families* in the Donetsk region.
DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 35,000 families last week

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 42 settlements over the course of a week, thus restoring access to electricity for 34,966 families in the Donetsk region.  

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to 15,200 families in 16 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
