DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity after shelling to 1,600 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On August 13, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 1,600 homes in 7 settlements, de-energized due to regular enemy attacks. Despite constant danger, specialists are working tirelessly to repair the girds – upon approval of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide every town and village with electricity, required for the full-fledged life.

The enemy continues to attack the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing new power outages in towns and villages of the region. Despite the threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers managed to restore power to 7 settlements of the region, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 1,579 families of residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region yesterday. 

Nearly 6,000 homes currently remain without electricity due to hostilities in the region. 

Restoration activities in the frontline region are complicated by the security situation. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to every home as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
