DTEK energy workers restored power to almost 5,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

On July 22, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to almost 5,000 families in 3 settlements of the region that were hit by enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

No day passes without shelling in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy attacks with drones and artillery, thus causing damage to power facilities and de-energization of residents. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Over the course of the day, July 22, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers managed to restore operation of power lines in 3 settlements that were damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to de-energized homes of 4,890 families. Power supply to the affected districts is now fully restored.
